My friend Tony Blackmore passed away in China on August 27, 2022. I met Tony in Ilsan, Korea back in 1997. We were good friends ever since.
I have been in contact with his family and I hope to see his memorial service before i go north.

Fort Anne Encampment 2022
After a 2 year enforced hiatus, we went back. This year my 4 days off were exactly the days for the event. I went down on Thursday and returned Sunday.
Most of these shots are mine, the first two I belive are from one of our newest members.

Raid on Fort Longlier
1758, French and Canadiens raid a British outpost
And the French come out on top yet again. The Crown forces will have to fall back into the fort to safety as the French have no artillery in this attack

Battle of Fort Ontario, August 1756
Montcalm leads a large raid against Oswego and Ontario. The English militia and Provincial forces are attempting to hold the frontier
The French opened up an artillery bombardment and like a repeat of history it devastating the Colonial troops
However a ranger section has advanced to try and flank the Amerindian advance. The French regulars are acting as a reserve while the Colonial forces advance.
The American Colonial are holding the French back.
