Another set of Strelets infantry

 I first bought the set in Akihabara, Tokyo about 12 years ago. Through various travels some of them lost bits. So I got a second one.

Great Northern War Russian artillery and wooden fort

 

this is the added extra gate, the fort I have out in my garage 

The Russian Artillery set I had not yet gotten but found when I was at my favorite shop and museum after my day of military enlisting work. I may just paint these up as early English gunners for my siege of Port Royal, Acadia project.

I turned 50!

24 hour sunlight woke me up

So i had made soldiers bread

and enjoyed my new Blackbeard flag.

More adventures in reenactment and gamming await once I go home for summer vacation 

 

Wow, my son turns 18 today!

 Ive sent him best wishes for his birthday and a gift. Hopefully, we can spend some time together this summer.

Getting excited to do black powder games again

 I will have to see how much gamming I can get in this summer.  Plus reenacting 

Still in land of living, looking forward to reenactment season

 I'm REALLY looking forward to being around a campfire with my comrades in the different units. It all remains to be seen how many events I can attend this year depending on my access to a vehicle and my finances.

War of Spanish Succession in Northeastern North America

 ah oui Mousier Frontenac!

 I'm thinking on doing campaigns of these especially since there was fighting in Hudson Bay and Nova Scotia 

And the Europen battles as well

Eventually I will consolidate all my units together in Nova Scotia when I finish teaching.
