Clifton Moor was Jacobite Infantry fighting against British Horse. The Dragoons fought both mounted and dismounted. My British troops for this battle consisted of Italeri 17th Light Dragoons for the mounted units, the dismounted troopers I represented with Call of Arms British Grenadiers, which I know are not historically accurate, but sometimes you just have to make do with what you got.A blog on War gaming in North-eastern North America from 1670-1815, the life of an ex EFL instructor, a family man formerly in Japan and now in Canada , a camper, a reenactor, a drummer, and all round crazy but home Nova Scotian. Having taught for an extended period my career is now in private security.
