Not sure what kind of snake this is, but since it is Asia, you can never be too careful. This was in a park about 5 meters from a sidewalk where children were walking home from school. From what I read in Boy Scouts, as well as Jungle survival books, snakes are best to be avoided. As I took this shot, the snake recoiled so I tossed some water at it. It then slithered away. A blog on War gaming in North-eastern North America from 1670-1815, the life of an ex EFL instructor, a family man formerly in Japan and now in Canada , a camper, a reenactor, a drummer, and all round crazy but home Nova Scotian. Having taught for an extended period my career is now in private security.
