RIP Tony Blackmore
My friend Tony Blackmore passed away in China on August 27, 2022. I met Tony in Ilsan, Korea back in 1997. We were good friends ever since.
I have been in contact with his family and I hope to see his memorial service before i go north.

Fort Anne Encampment 2022
After a 2 year enforced hiatus, we went back. This year my 4 days off were exactly the days for the event. I went down on Thursday and returned Sunday.

Battle of Fort Ontario, August 1756
Montcalm leads a large raid against Oswego and Ontario. The English militia and Provincial forces are attempting to hold the frontier
The French opened up an artillery bombardment and like a repeat of history it devastating the Colonial troops
However a ranger section has advanced to try and flank the Amerindian advance. The French regulars are acting as a reserve while the Colonial forces advance.
The American Colonial are holding the French back.
