Slackers 2023 my first wargame convention in Halifax
We did the Battle of Talavera 1809.
The final attack. Royal Artillery gives cover fire as a British infantry brigade of regulars and Highlanders with a cavalry unit on the right. Both French unis destroyed which meant by points we won!My Rifles threw out the Voltigeurs to my front. These would then become the focus of the French centre
The British cavalry attempt to flank the Fremch right
While the Spamish on the left launch a bayonet charge
The river to my front was actually dry
The centre of the Battle. I'm to hold the hill
The full board
I made it even after working a night shift
