Terrain work in progress

 Ive been working on some table top terrain for my gamming table, and posted the pictures on my FB page. As such, I've been invited to the Shearwater Hobby show in May by a local gamming group!

I'll be giving a demonstration game of the Seven Years War period based on the skirmish near the St. Croix river in Hants county in the 1750s.

The first step I had was to use 3 pieces of terrain which I had bought in Japan back in the early 2000s. I had always placed them as such. I recently bought Vallero European mud and AK Water Gel transparent. I added the water gel to the channel and added the mud to the hill sections.

I then decided to put a tree on one end and I'm thinking on adding another to balance it out. I plan on building up some other river sections.

I have collected the entire series I believe. Mr. Stockwin did a great job woth this series. He has written some other novels which ill have to check out. 

 

Paint or game?

 I need to get myself back into the period. One thing I haven't done is paint some figures.

I also have the Great Northern War Russian gunners to finish up. They can also be early Royal Artillery as well.

The idea is to make a Port Royal 1700 campaign.

I have a weekend free so ill work on some terrain and some 1700s troops
