French troops of the Seven Years War/French and Indian War in Canada: Languedoc
2eme Landouch were part of the French metropolotian troops sent to New France in 1755. I have these figures modeled in plastic and metal, and like my other units, the plastics are here in Japan while the metals are in Nova Scotia. This battalion suffered heavily in the French and Indian war. Of the 556 officers and men who arrived in Quebec in 1755, 51 remained in September 1760!
Languedoc is the blue faced coats (www.cmhg.gc.ca)
