Pirates attack a Ghost Castle

The night before last, prior to my departure for work, Ian and I played a game with his castle and pirate ship

He was really happy that we could play before I went off to work.

This shot is supposed to be us in a Toys R Us with some Zombie Nerf stuff, but it didn't seem to load well.

Sunny days and Axis and Allies

Finally after two days of cloudy and rainy conditions, I was able to take my children outside to play. That meant a trip to the part to play with our Nerf Dart Guns, and to swing on the swings. It was fun, and tomorrow should see us at another park for a picnic.

New Nerf gun

Ian had a karate test last month, and was so good, he was advanced two belt levels. He went from orange to purple!
Thus, I got him his newest NERF dart gun, a N-Strike Barricade RV-10. It 10 round magazine semi-automatic soft dart gun. He's been blasting and reloading for the past 3 hours.

My pistol held 2 shots, his only one! HAAA HAAA HAAAA. Later on this Golden week, more of same. He's now asking for the double barrelled one.

Spring vacation means I can have fun with my friends. I had my buddy come over for some wargamming, Kraft Dinner, and brownies! It's the simple comfort foods from home which we miss the most. Also, Ian wanted to show off his new NERF dart gun.
