I found my Napoleonic collection, still looking for my 18th century metals

I believe the boxes that I left behind at my Dads, are the ones which hold the rest of my collection.
The rest are on a ship sailing to Canada.

Past my driving test, now have driver's liscence

Another hurdle crossed, now i need to finish up the paperwork to get my car a plate, which I will try to personalise, and try not to make it sound too cute.
As well, need to get started on the DYI fix up of the duplex we are renting from my old classmate. I found a table I want to buy when we begin to fix up rooms.
Also, I need to be able to call the kids school and get them registared.
More to check off the bucket list

Medical insurance, housing

Two more major items to check off the bucket list, here in Nova Scotia, Canada, we have socialized medicine like the rest of Canada. My family is taken care of.
We were also able to secure a home for us for a year thanks to the help of one of my old high school classmates who is a realitor, and also owner of a building which needs to be fixed up.
So, Irishhighlander will indeed have a new home, and a man cave to be a part of.

Car, insurance, driver's liscence, job

This has been a busy week. I've gotten most of my things done for moving home. I have a job with my old company of Securitas Canada so I will go back into the security industry.

My new car 2009 Toyota Corolla

Standing next to my new car, I bought used from Oregans Toyota in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Must thank my mum for thinking of our future.

Emi drove the Jeep Patriot from Halifax to Halifax International without having an accident despite tossing a loonie coin too hard and it bouncing off the bridge toll and some VW cutting her off on the highway. Way to go Hunny Bunny

Goodbye Japan, Hello Canada

Since 1999, I was an EFL teacher in Japan. After some major issues with my family in Canada, with my parents health being affected and the passing of my mother, I lost the desire to be a teacher. When you begin to not care about teaching, its time to call it a day.
Thus, I will be changing my career. As of Monday, I will be looking for work, a home, and a car.

Irishhighlander is now in Canada!

My family and I have decided to return to Nova Scotia, Canada. We are now looking for a home so that I can take care of my wife's immigration, and a place to call our own home.
As such, this blog will start to have some more exciting events posted. Gamming will recommence once I get a house and can move my gear in storage in.
